LACP ports used as standalone ports

we setup a switch for the server team to have LACP team ports for their Teamed nics in the servers.

on a few servers, the server team did not setup teaming on their nics and connected the nics to the switch teamed ports.  the switch connected each nic in standalone mode.  We did not notice this until some time later.

Would this have caused any network issues,  or would the switch treated the ports as standalone and work as usual?

The server should run in active/standby mode for the NICs and the switch would just run in standalone mode. No issues should have been caused by this.
