Hello,
a friend has a router EPC3925. He now wants to lay a cable in a guest house in his parents' garden, which is about 70 m away, and connect a repeater there to be able to access the Internet in both houses via the same router. The Wlan has there only a range of about 20m through the garden.
Is this possible and which repeater can you recommend?
Are there incompatibilities with e.g. an AVM repeater.Switching, Router
My problem is that the house is abroad and I can neither read nor speak the language there and access to the router of the provider is so not possible.
Thank you very much for your help.

Hello,
Ethernet Signal Repeaters are layer 1 devices, so they are not vendor specific. Any repeater will do, such as the one in this link:
https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Signal-Repeater-cable-meters/dp/B00LJ2AOMC
That said, if the distance is about 70 meters, you might not even need a repeater, as all Ethernet have a maximum distance of 100 meters (328 feet), so your friend might get away without one, and with just a long cable.

Hello
You should be able to use any unmanged switch which could act as a repeater however have you considered a wifi extender instead?
