Hi all,
i am having problem in configuring L2PT (layer 2 protocol tunneling) in my 7600 series routers.
when i am trying to configure it i am getting this issue

76a(config-if)#service instance 1 ethe
76a(config-if)#service instance 1 ethernet
76a(config-if-srv)#encapsulation ?
% Unrecognized command
76a(config-if-srv)#encapsulation dot1q vlan 20

is there any IOS requirement for 7600 series router to support layer 2 port channeling configuration
plz have a look at my following router information

Hi Vipin,
I doubt if EVC is supported in 6748. Can you try in module 3 which is ES20?
Thanks,
Madhu
