License issue

Hello, I've been having issues with 2 different C3560CX switches rebooting randomly. Neither seem to be a power supply issue. After doing some digging it appears both have no IP Base license. We bought these with the IP Base and not the ipservices license. They both show the following.

HyattFairfaxVA_ISP_Switch#show license
Index 1 Feature: ipservices
Period left: 12 weeks 6 days
License Type: Evaluation
License State: Active, Not in Use, EULA not accepted
License Priority: None
License Count: Non-Counted

Index 2 Feature: ipbase
Period left: 0 minute 0 second

License Level: ipbase
License Type: Default. No valid license found.
Next reload license Level: ipbase

What do we need to do to get these fixed so that they are no in this mode anymore and are on the ipbase license?

thank you

Hi there,

You are running the IP Base license:

License Level: ipbase
License Type: Default. No valid license found.
Next reload license Level: ipbase

Index 1 on the output is displaying the evaluation license for IP Services, AKA the Right To Use license. Note that it is Active, but Not in Use. You have to accept the EULA and reload the switch for the IP Services license to become Active. NB. The period left count will then start ticking down.

Cheers,

Seb.
