I am a novice when it comes with Cisco and am currently learning for CCNA and have a question hopefully someone can answer. My home lab consists of 3 switches and 3 routers. Switches are 2950 series and Routers are 2650.
I have just setup an AS2511RJ so I can remote into this equipment via com port. When I perform a show line command I get this on all my equipment (please also note i have not configured the AS2511, just plugged all the ports in via rollover RJ45 cable.)

What I would like to know is Overruns and noise on the com port. What is this caused by (the Access Server?) and is this somthing serious?

This is usually not a major issue. Try clearing the line a couple of times and that should go away
use:
clear line console 0
