Hi
I have a trunk link between 2 core switches, they are then connected to access layer stacks, HSRP run between the cores. Each access layer stack has a link to each core. Vlans span across the stacks.
The link between the cores is currently allowing only 4 vlans across it. Is it best practice to allow other vlans across it as well so hsrp can see its neigbor on a direct link for each vlan instead of sending hellos via the access layer which currently is causing issues as hsrp states keep changing for certain vlans. I believe its timing out fo some reason
Thankyou
