Hi,
What is the best possible configuration to implement QOS for live streaming in a layer 2 environment. Its completely cisco switch environment and streaming source and clients are connected in two different L2 switch with maximum of three hops.
streaming takes place at the rate of approximately 300mbps on the switch interface. Sometime we see pixelation on the live stream.
Momentary burst could also a problem. Any possible fix ?

What's the streaming source? Cisco Codec? Does the source tag the traffic with any COS value? Should be CS4 for video streaming. if yes make sure you have mls qos trust cos command on the switch interface to trust the COS value. If not you can define some policies to tag the traffic with DSCP AF41 and reserve a bandwidth for it.

Thanks for the suggestion.
They are not Cisco Codecs. Traffic classification based on source IP works in L2 switch ?
