Loading IOS on ASR 1001 through MGMT interface?

I'm trying to copy code to an ASR 1001 using TFTP via the MGMT interface.  I have verified connectivity via ping and have set the tftp-source interface to Gig0 accroding to the Quick start guide.  However, when I try to copy the code from my PC to the ASR it times out.

Check the PC or laptop for firewall software that might be blocking TFTP (port 69)

Yep, that was it!

I thought about that right after I posted the question.

For the record, you most certainly can load IOS from the MGMT interface.

I had the same thought but you beat me to it. I would hope that Jason would have rated your response. But since he did not it is the least I can do to acknowledge a correct response that led to a solution to the problem.

You can also load the IOS via the USB port.
