Local DNS Server on c9300

I have isolated network, a stack of 9300s, DHCP server enabled on the switch. I know this isn't common, but I would like to know if it is possible to configure it as a local DNS server. I sent 'ip dns server' and I read that I can probably add my own routes with 'ip dns host MYDEVICE x.x.x.x' but the idea is to not have to do this manually. If it is possible, I would appreciate if you could share some commands. TIA.

Local DNS only if you have domain' otherwise it better to use external dns server and push it IP via dhcp to all host.

If you have domain then you can use SW SVI as dns server and resolve your local domain name and if host need other than your domain the SW will send it (like proxy) to external DNS.
