Hi,
In my design's I say the core is safe and under control. So I focus more on the Access.
Portfast and BPDU Guard at least.
In a campus I would use pvst+. and UDLD detection to see broken links
But at the core loop guard and root guard are nice features. But if I would get the change I would try to use routed ports as much as possible to prevent STP loops.
Hope that gives you some ideas, if you want go on with the discussion, just let me know.
regards,
Sebastian
