Loop occurs when connecting between Cisco Nexus switch and Alteon swit

An additional VLAN 72 link has been connected between the Alteon L4 and the Nexus switch as shown in the photo below.

However, a loop occurred.

I connected, expecting STP to work for each VLAN, but the service was interrupted.

What on earth is the problem...?

Cisco : rapid-pvst

Alteon : STP/RSTP

Alteon : only stg 1 group

- You need to make sure that both platforms use the same ->STP algorithm

Alteon is compatible up to RSTP, and Cisco is Rapid-Pvst.
Cisco Raipd-pvst was listed as 802.1w compatible.

This vlan is vpc vlan or non vpc vlan?
