Hello,

We have a setup for management, a management switch to which all other devices are connected, we are trying to access these devices from different subnet but unable to reach them, need assistance to get reachability to this management subnet (10.250.205.0/24) from our remote office.

Regards

Syed

We need more information, are you able to access devices from same subnet ?

what subnet you are not able to access from remote office, is the remote office using VPN or how are you connected to main office ? do you have routing available to reach that OOB network. (traceroute is your friend) - check any FW between which was blocking to access Manangement IP address.

Hi,

If the management switch is simply a layer-2 device, it need to have default-gateway pointing to another device on the network that is performing routing for the rest of the subnets/vlans. If the management switch is doing layer-3, than it needs a default route or run the same routing protocol the rest of the network use.
