Maximum number of HSRP groups on 3850

Can someone verify the max number of HSRP groups on a 3850 switch?

Thanks for the response.   I'm not looking for group number range on v1 or v2 but rather the actual number of separate HSRP groups that can be configured.  For example on the 3750 the number is 32 instances (limited by hardware).

Has this number been increased on the 3850??

The exact statement for 3.7e was: "You can configure upto 128 groups at the configuration level but the recommended HSRP group number limit is 64."

Such a statement is not present in 16.5 nor in 16.12. I understand that 16 is "newer" than 3, at least according to https://www.ciscolive.com/c/dam/r/ciscolive/us/docs/2016/pdf/BRKCRS-3300.pdf

So we still have to find out what you can configure, and what is recommended, in 16.x.
