mls qos trust cos ?

Hello, on our older MLS QoS switches, we used this command (mls qos trust cos) on access ports that had Cisco phones attached.

Is cos automatically trusted on newer switches that run MQC QoS, or do you need to specify it manually somehow ?

Thank you.

Newer switches implicitly trust DSCP.  If your environment supports it, I would suggest using it rather than L2 CoS.

Hi,

You still need to add the auto qos command per interface. This would also enable input and output policies per interface with default parameters.

see link on how to enable it:
