Hi guys ,
am from Jordan So apologize in advance for my En language ..
i get a new job as It Admin , I have very good experience in MS product , but am still new in Cisco Field an and threres no sheets or any handing over.
first ,,,, is there any way can know my network topology ? ive tried to use CDP but i don't know its kind of hard .
2- how is there any software that monitor my network ,, if any port down or something like this...
3- ive notice that when i try to log in to switch using web interface its using the default Cisco/Cisco ,, also after i change the admin password from CLI
and when i do "Sh Run " Command , it's not showing the Cisco user ...
am asking alot :) ,, But please help me if you can :) :) ,,, i feel like a fish in see.

there is heaps of software out there that can do this, including some freeware

PRTG is pretty good, you can use LAN sweeper, and do a network discovery based on IP addresses.
you can use Solarwinds as well

3 > password change in router depends on model you are using. What is cisco hardware model and os version?
