MTP/MPO crossover cables or straight through?

Hi,

I'm looking to deploy a pair of 6500s running VSS.

VSS will be established over a pair of 40GBASE-SR4 QSFP+ transceivers in each switch.

Do we need MTP/MPO crossover cables or straight through cables to connect the QSFPs?

Since the two switches are sitting side by side the MTP/MPO cables will be passed directly between the two racks.

As a result there will be no intervening fibre fobots used.

All documentation I could find said to use the MPO/MTP connector.
