Hello,
We are currently routing multicast traffic towards a router that is outside the scope of our project management tasks. Although we have verified that the t
raffic is reaching the router, it appears to be getting dropped at that point. We are using PIM Dense mode for propagation.
Upon reviewing the router's configuration, we noticed that "ip pim snooping" is enabled globally. Could this be causing the issue?
Thank you for your assistance

Possibly. PIM snooping is the Cisco IGMP snooping like feature for routers. It might drop the multicast as, with DM, the multicast wasn't requested.

Hello @Fernandomunoz81
Since you are in PIM DM, you can disable IGMP snooping , unless there's a specific need for it.
