multichassis LACP/etherchannel help

hi guys,

 

Our company wants to have the kind of network based on the diagram attached. A server with two bonded NICs will connect to two different layer 3 switches. I need help on what kind of switches could do this and how can I accomplish this.

Hi,

We can do this very much with VPC in nexus devices. Nexus 7000,5000,3000 devices support VPC.

Dear,

As my collegue already stated that this kind of setup is only possible when you do the VPC.

VPC is the technology were in you can connect from one device to two different uplink devices and form an etherchannel across/between them.

With normal etherchannel(LACP/PAGP) you cant achieve this.

But were in if you have Nexus devices then yes you can achieve this without any issue.

I was reading about stackwise, can I accomplish my scenario using ciscos' stackwise?
