N ports to 1 port and 1 port to n ports

Hi,

I need to switch traffic on a 2960 cisco switch.

Here is want I want:

Traffic received on ports 1 to 10 being forwarded only to port 11.

Traffic received on port 11 being forwarded to ports 1 to 10.

That means that traffic received on port 1 has to not being forwarded to ports 2 to 10.

Maybe using vlan forwarding? but frames can't be modified.

Thanks a lot to this community.

- Switches don't work that way; they like forwarding ; simply put the ports in the same 'forwarding domain' into separate VLAN;'s.

I know that I request specific switching rules. I don't know how to do what your speaking about. Will search forwarding domain in google...

If the 2960 support PVLANs, that might meet your requirements.

Does the ports have to be in trunk mode?

For PVLAN ports? I recall the edge/host ports do not. Don't recall for the "gateway/hub" port, but likely not.
