N9K NXOS 7.0(3)I1(2) Command "logging origin-id hostname"

Hi,

The command "logging origin-id hostname" on NXOS seems to not work with version 7.0(3)I1(2), how to solve the problem? Syslog server did not see the originator switch N9K coming in.

I found this from https://community.cisco.com/t5/switching/is-there-a-similar-command-in-nx-os-quot-logging-origin-id/td-p/2085457

Nexus 5500 has this command available on 7.3(0)N1(1) or 7.2(1)N1(1) or later.

Nexus 7000 has this command available on 6.2(2) or later.

What about N9K? Currently run version 7.0(3)I1(2).

Thanks,

I used nexus 9K 7.X nexus code it works  as expected below :

logging origin-id {hostname | ip ip-address | string text-string}

Example:

switch(config)# logging origin-id string n9k-switch-abc
