NCS55A2 command modes

I was upgrading some 55A2s in lab this morning and got stuck for a while in a sysadmin console position, instead of the router ios mode that I usually use. I realize these are like VMs on a device, but my knowledge of how to use them, and more importantly, get to where I need to be, is weak. Does anyone have a good link to documentation that details this aspect of the NCS system?
