what config will be better for the attached scenario

active- active or active standby

what config should be used HSRP, VRRP or anyother

i would just use hsrp for Layer 3 fail over.

depends what you would like to do.

HSRP sounds good for redundancy at L3 interfaces. But a better scenario for Load Balancing would be GLBP.

But again, depends what yoy want to do :)

What's better depends on your gateway service requirements. A topology diagram, alone, doesn't tell us that. For example, (I believe) later versions of HSRP support subsecond timers; not sure Cisco's VRRP implementation does. Or, for example, for HSRP you normally need 3 IPs, believe VRRP only requires two.
