netflow on internet edge router

Hi,

If i want to enable  netflow on the internet edge router (Cisco CISCO3945) and behind asa firewall in active standby mode ? 

What is the pros and cons

Hi,

This all depends on how much traffic the 3945 is passing and the cpu utilisation on the router. If the cpu utilisation is not too high, implementing netflow would be a good idea. The pros are 1) visibility into traffic traversing the edge router 2)security incident detection

I don't have any cons for implementing netflow, i think it is a great tool for visibility into traffic that is traversing the network.
