I have two nexus 5548 switches that also have 2 2248T connected through fex fabric configuration.

My problem is I can connect a device to a 2248T (102/1/3) configured as an access port but if I move that device to a second port (102/1/5) configured the same as (102/1/3) the second port (102/1/5)  does not come up. Is there a mac cache or something that would prevent me from moving from one port to another on the same 2248T

If your 2248T switches connect to BOTH 5548 switches (VPC), you need to configure 102/1/3 on both 5ks.

It maybe that 102/1/3 is configured on both 5ks, but the102/1/5 port is only configured on one 5k and that is why it doesn't work.
