Hey everyone! I need help with this.
We just finished our lab tutorial on Cisco Packet Tracer and were told to design a network map. In this scenario, it consists of a building that has four floors in which their administrative, technician and lecturer are allocated.
We are required to design the network infrastructure topology for the building, Block 1, 2, 3 and 4.
• The IP address for the building is 198.22.45.173/26.
• There are 2 IP phones located at each Block.
• Block 1 consisted of 125 hosts.
• Block 2 consisted of 59 hosts.
• Block 3 consisted of 12 hosts.
• Block 4 consisted of 25 hosts.
The deliverable is basically to create VLANs across multiple devices. Trunks allow the traffic from multiple VLANS to travel over a single link, while keeping the VLAN identification and segmentation intact. Each block consists of 5 different types of VLANs namely, data, management, native, voice and default VLAN. Student, Staff and Technician are under data VLAN.
I just want know what are the possible network maps that I could come up with. Thank you!
