New vlan not working on stack of 8 Cisco 2960's

Hi All

I have an access stack connected to a core. There are a total of 16 VLANs configured on the switch of 6 are in use.
I created vlan 140, 2 months ago and added it to the access stack, port-channel and relative ports without issue and clients get network access on this vlan.

Last week I created a new vlan 118 and added it to the stack, i.e. vlan, port-channel, ports. Clients on this vlan will not get an IP address. This vlan works across all other switch stacks.

I see the vlan added to the ports as well as display in the vlan list.

I can get to the vlan as below

BUT what I cant do is get to the vlan interface. It just hangs on the below. The only vlan interface I can get to is vlans with an existing interfaces. I can’t get to any other vlan interface, the other vlans do work, however. Now there is no reason for me to get to the interface for this vlan to work but it’s the only thing I have found as being an issue.

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

I have recreated the vlan. Not sure what to do next, would like to avoid a stack reboot.

Can you post the below output :

show version

show ip interface brief

show vtp

Note: I have seen this kind of issue, the reason maybe stack is too busy, due to 8 devices in the stack, stack up time  Longer than years

Whole stack was up last 2 years compare to stack member only 33 weeks.

Also you running VTP Server mode.

At this stage you do not like to reboot the stack, only i can think due to busy it taking time to replicate the config.

if you see any non-peak hours where the switch CPU normal, try adding VLAN see if that success ?

I think I need to shutdown the whole stack and bring it up out of hours. For now I am moving the devices that need the vlan to new stacks.
