Hi Team,

May I know what is this  ((   N3548-24P-UPG= ))  part number use for .

It seem like an port license upgrade for N3548. if yes then why do we need to buy this port license for N3500 series switches.

Hi,

See table-12 in this link.  The license is for additional 24 ports for a total of 48 ports.

If I have 2x units of N3524P-10GX ,  and I buy just 1 x  unit of  N3548-24P-UPG=.

Can I split the ports licenses into 2 switches with 12 port per switches ?

Hi,

No, I don't think that is possible.  The license applies to only one device.
