Hi All,
I am looking for help in production scenario of Cisco Nexus 5000 Series switches hanging as peer and connected to other nexus, 6500 pairs in etherchannel config.
Just read the best practices from cisco and found there shouldn't be "spanning-tree port type network " over trunks uplinks/downlinks going to other Nexus switches configured as vpc's to avoid BA. Instead there would be "normal" option need to be use.
"Network" would be aplicable to only vpc peers link switches.
My question is, what impact does this change of spanning port type will have on production switches. As critical services are running we are cautious doing do.
Any advises and expert opinions please.
Regards.
