Nexus 7K not showing access-list hits

For some reason when I do show ip access-list on my Nexus 7K I'm seeing no hits on the access list. The access list is working as its denying access to subnets not allowed on the list.

Do I need to turn any feature on?

Thanks

Switches process acls mainly in hardware so you don't usually get the true number of hits on the acl. However with the Nexus 7k you can add the "statistics per-entry" option to your acl entries which will keep a record of the hits on the acl -

Nexus 7000 - acl config

My case was as follows:

Nexus 7K, release 6.x
Configuring PBR to redirect traffic to Web Caching Engine

show access-lists , didn't show hits even with "statistics per-entry" configured.

However, I configured "route-map pbr-statistics" for my route-map and voila it shows the hits with "show route-map pbr-statistics"

Thanks,

Shady Hassan

statistics per-entry has worked for me

statistics per-entry not working for me (Nexus 7702 F3 card )

Any one can help ???
