Hi,
I'm looking at implementing the Nexus 9k soon (I have used 5k's previously). I see that static MPLS is supported (although no LDP).
What is MPLS used for on the 9k platform? I am assuming that they're not a service provider switch, such as the cat 6500 or the 7k, so I don't think they would support MPLS VPN's... Or do they?
Or, is this used for creating EVPN's for VxLANs?
Or, is it related to ACI?
I'm not looking to implement MPLS just for fun, but I would be interested to know what it's use-cases are for the 9k.
Thanks

Based on some further research, I have found that the Nexus 9k would use MPLS in two scenarios:
1, BGP EVPN as a control plane for VxLAN

2, Segment Routing, used for SDN/ACI

Hope this helps someone else
