Will be moving from Catalyst 6500 series to Nexus 9300 series switch and need to configure (Microsoft) NLB multicast on a Nexus 93128TX. I read that NLB is not supported on the 9300 series but there are some workarounds. The only solution I have found is to map a unicast IP address to a multicast MAC address and enabling MAC-based L2 lookups. Are there any other recommendations for accomplishing this?

I found this document for doing it on a Nexus 7000, perhaps it will be similar.

Hello ,
Unfortunately, As far as I am aware there is no workaround at this point in time. This deployment method of NLB is not supported on the Nexus 9000 platform as documented in the NX-OS release notes.
You could reconfigure the NLB cluster to unicast mode as per the documentation Unicast NLB in N9k and follow the advice in https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuq03168/ for a better outcome.
Hope it Helps..
