please help me on this error

 

error:-eth0/3 interface is a destination in another session

check below things,

 

Characteristics of Destination Ports

SPAN destination ports have the following characteristics:

  • A port configured as a destination port cannot also be configured as a source port.

  • A destination port can be configured in only one SPAN session at a time.

  • Destination ports do not participate in any spanning tree instance. SPAN output includes bridge protocol data unit (BPDU) Spanning Tree Protocol hello packets.

As per your log, you already have this port in another span session:

 

this is already discussed for N-9000 if you have same modal switch then can be refere

What command are you trying to enter that gives that message ? 

 

What does a "sh monitor" look like ?

For me Looks like you have another Monitor session already running with that interface ? (Please confirm is that case with you)

You can not have more than 1, so you need to select another interface as destination, as per the guidelines and document.

Hello,

 

if eth0/3 is not configured as a destination in another session, shut/no shut the interface. That might clear the interface.

 

If possible, post the full running configuration of the Nexus...
