Hi all,
Please can someone explain what traffic, goes via a vpc?
Thanks.

A vPC is just an etherchannel that can be terminated on both Nexus switches.
So basically anything that is sent across an etherchannel eg. control protocols, management traffic and end user traffic.
Is there something specific you were thinking of ?

That is more tricky because routing over vPCs or more specifically over the vPC peer link has rules as to what you can and can't do.
Bit complicated to explain but here is a link which should help -

Just to add some more with Jon comments:-
VPC is equal to MEC. VPC between the switches form ( Peer-Link- were the contrl plan traffic flows accross and the otehr vpc between the devices is same as other etherchannel or MEC.).
