We have a backup server on our network that has 5 available NICs. We are looking to see if we can get it teamed to where it can receive on all 5 NICs.
What class of switch would support this type of teaming or would it take a load balancer?
I know software teaming server side allows you to recieve on one, transmit on many. We are looking for the opposite of that.
Thanks.

802.3ad is your choice.
Some NIC cards also support Cisco proprietary Etherchannel.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Bill.
