We have nortel 5650 running rstp stack with a single link to cisco 3560 which is a 3rd party switch running pvst with vlan 1 and 2.
On the Cisco port the Nortel connects to it goes orange for about 20 seconds so portfast isn't enabled. On the Nortel the spanning-tree is all defaults.
When I plug in the Nortel to the Cisco the network goes down and switches flash like mad. So spanning-tree is kicking off.
Do I need to put any configuration on the Cisco port or nortel port for the up link?
