NTP server connected to CIsco Router

Hi All

I am going to be implementing a local NTP server onsite.

My question is if I point my Cisco router to receive the sync from my 3rd party NTP server, can I then point switches/other network devices connected off my Cisco router to receive the sync from the Cisco router itself rather than the NTP server itself? If so what commands are required.

Regards

James

You could just point the other devices to the Cisco router ip address  , rather than the NTP server IP , pick a logical ip that's always up on the Cisco router to point too  , loopback etc

ntp server x.x.x.x (Cisco router ip)  prefer
