We have 2 Nexus 5010's running NX-OS 4.2(1)N2(1). We would like to upgrade to 5.2(1)N1(9). The upgrade process can be disruptive, as they do not fill a core role.
My question is, can we do a disruptive upgrade to 5.2(1)N1(9) directly or should I still do multiple upgrades (i.e. 4.2(1)N2(1) to 5.0(3)N2(2b), 5.0(3)N2(2b) to 5.1(3)N2(1c) and 5.1(3)N2(1c)to 5.2(1)N1(9) )?

Hello Alexander,
My understanding is as long as it is disruptive you can directly do the installation.
Please refer the below.

Hope this helps,
