hi all,

i am sorry if this is the wrong forum but kindly someone tell me (or refer me a link) which tells the official learning hours for ccnp security ??

Official learning hours?  I don't think there is such a thing.  Everyone learns at a different pace and requires different amount of time.

Sir, when i attended classes for ccna, i remember there was something mentioned as course duration 40 Hrs in the student guide,

That was the CCNA class hours or course hours.  For that you'll have to contact the school you are planning on taking the course.  Generally they are 5 day courses.  So since CCNP requires 3 exams it would be around 5 days X 3.  Now each day would be around 8 hours approximately so 40 X 3.  But then again it would all depend on the school you are planning on taking the course at.
