on cisco switch no ip mfib cef input and no ip route-cache command

Hi,

recently we replaced cisco switch from 3550 to 9200 or 9300 series switch and the configuration imported same as before. i want to know the purpose of having below command on new switched. is there any benefit or is it good to enable those commands for better performance.

no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
no ip mfib cef input
no ip route-cache

Hi,

Have a look at the this link. At least the first 3 in your list is part of Cisco guide for harden Cisco IOS devices. So, I would say, yes it is a good practice to deploy these commands.
