Options for stacking

I am using (2) 4500x in VSS, unfortunately VSS doesn't support vlan mapping on the standby switch. With that I am looking for other options. I was thinking about breaking up the VSS or buying some 3850's so I can stack 3 or more switches together.

I am asking for insight from the community on what I could do.

Thank you,

Maybe can you explain more, what kind of VLAN Mapping here?  ( VSS means physically 2 and Logical 1)

how the stack can resolve this?

( Stack also same you can add as many as switches, they are 1 control plane)

Vlan mapping 1 to 1, unfortunately the standby switch in the VSS doesn't support vlan mapping. So I either have to remove VSS from the switches or find a different solution. Hence the reason for the post.

sure that is the key feature which required for your environment, rather more investment, beak the VSS to get that feature.
