OSPF - cost analysis

Hi All,

When I think of cost, I think lower is better.  Is that the same with OSPF?  Isn't the route that costs 75 preferred?

The last sentence of the figure below chooses the route that costs 111.  Is that righ?

If the routes are of the same type then the lowest cost path is chosen so i can only assume that is a typo.
