Good evening all..
I have a 4506 populated with the following modules
Mod Ports Card Type Model Serial No.
---+-----+--------------------------------------+------------------+-----------
1 6 Sup 6L-E 10GE (X2), 1000BaseX (SFP) WS-X45-SUP6L-E JAE151707EW
2 48 10/100/1000BaseT (RJ45) WS-X4548-GB-RJ45 JAE1518069U
3 48 10/100BaseTX (RJ45)V, Cisco/IEEE WS-X4248-RJ45V JAB084703CR
I have 2 etherchannels on blade two G2/1 and G2/2 po1 and G2/3 and G2/4 po2 both interfaces are experiencing overruns which are incrementing
(see below with last clearing 31 mins ago) Traffic over the averages are not even close to full utilization. There is an iSCSI SAN on this blade and VM hosts connect to it from the 2960G's and my server guy is complaining about latentcy to the SAN. 1000 1500byte pings to each 2960 show 1/1/10 at most with 100%. Any ideas or input would be most helpful. This configuration was working fine prior to a move.. The switches were stood up exactly the same as they were at the old site.

You might want to try separating the channels across more of the card instead of having them on consecutive ports and see what happens . Leave the first where it is , 2nd maybe in the port 20 range and third in the upper 30 range just to separate them . Also look at the utilization on the 2960's at the time of complaint using show controllers utilization .

Thanks so much for the quick response.
Well let me try that later this week. I did shut down the second port in an etherchannel and the overruns still incremented… Traffic is not where near full.. Is this normal?
