Packet Tracer 6.2.0 constanly crashing on three different computers

I have Packet Tracer 6.2.0 installed on three different  computers and it crashes on all of them while I'm using it. While I'm doing different configurations all three will crash within 5 to 10 minutes. Is there a DMP. file that I can capture or retrieve after a crash? What is the default location of it? I'm also going to send a bug report. I'm studying for my CCNA.

Thank You.

Is it full version? and Licensed one?

Yes it is a full licensed version. 6.2.0. I attended Cisco Network Academy so I have a logon. I downloaded it from the Cisco site. I even completely uninstalled Packet Tracer and reinstalled it, but it still crashes after 5 or 10 minutes so I can't really use it for my labs. Is there a dump file I can capture, and  analyze to find out what's causing the crash?

Thank You.

I am also having this problem on 3 different computers.  Two at home and one at work.  All are Win7 x64.  I've tried to contact NetAcad support through facebook, which seems to be the only way and they were no help.  I was told to install the latest version (after several days of waiting for a response).  This was after I told them I'm using 6.2, which is the latest version available to students.  When I told them I already uninstalled/reinstalled it countless times they just stopped responding.  What kind of support it that Cisco??

Can we get some help with this please.  I know you have to be monitoring this forum.  It's extremely frustrating.  I've just had packet tracer crash 4x in a row while inputting a static ip on a pc in a timed skills assessment!!  I even tried logging in with different browsers and still, the problem exists.  I'm tired of wasting my time.  Please help Cisco!!

This is how I fixed this problem on my machines. I installed  packet tracer on a different laptop at my job and packet tracer did not crash. I then realized that it was some program that was installed on my computers at work and at home that was causing the crash. So I went into task manager and I started ending processes, one by one, then running packet tracer until it did not crash. The program that was common to all the affected computers was something called, "RoboForm taskbar.exe", which is a program I use to save all my logins and bookmarks. Once I killed the process, the crashes stopped. I would recommend that you try the same thing. It may be some program that you have installed that is conflicting with packet tracer. Try it and see what happens.

Thank you for responding with your solution so fast Clay!  It is truly appreciated.

You may have just done all the work for me.  I use RoboForm at home and every PC at work has it.  I've never had a problem with it and would have never thought it would cause packet tracer to crash.  I will exit out of it and try a lab or two.  I noticed today it was crashing every time I would enter in a static IP on a pc in packet tracer.  I will report back here as soon as I do some testing.  Thank you my friend!

Clay, I just wanted to thank you again.  I just finished a skills assessment that previously crashed countless times and this time there were no issues. Thanks again for your hard work.  I know that process you went through was very time consuming and I appreciate your efforts.

In my case it was the roboformtaskbar.exe file not the program itself. You should see it in task manager, and from there you can end the process.

I found you don't even have to go into task manager and kill the process directly.  Just right-click on the RoboForm Icon in the task bar and choose exit.  It kills the process when it exits.

Here's something to watch out for.  You can still use RoboForm from the toolbar,  killing the taskbar icon does not touch it.  If for some reason you use RoboForm while you have Netacad/Packet Tracer open, say to check e-mail or something, the RoboForm taskbar icon will reappear.  Make sure you close it before resuming your session.

Once again, thanks for your work on this.  This will probably help more people than you know.
