Packet Tracer is not longer working on unbuntu 18.04

Hello from Germany,

packettracer worked verry fine for me on Ubuntu 18.04 - I worked with the 7.2.2 Version.

But now after the hollydays packettracer dont't start anymore.

I found that the download on your page has changed for the 7.2.2 from *.tar.gz file to a *.setup.run file.

This File isn't working on my machine.

The other versions can be installed, but when I log in the Programm crashes after entering the username and pressing enter.

When im starting it via the shell entering packettracer, this is what I get:

Hi, there thanks for your picture,

I searched again, and guess what, now i found it, because my download
section looks an other way than yesterday...

see the picture...

And I found out something with my issue: The program crashes with a
normal login, but when I use the guest login in the right down corner,
it works.

this morning I came back to packet tracer 7.3 on ubuntu...

And all I can say is that this is the first packet tracer version I tried, which is working perfect!

I have done chapter 5 & 6 Introduction to the packet tracer and it works!

Hi every one, I have a problem with the instalation in fedora, when I try to launch whit my email an press "Next", the app close an appear this say's in the consloe:

I have same problem, but ubuntu 22.04 on distrobox container. (version 8.2.2)

It helped me 

terminal:

cd /opt/pt/bin/
and this command 

./PacketTracer

and if outpot: libQt5NetworkAuth problems run this command

packettracer eth0

It helped me, maybe it will help others, so I'll leave it at that.
