Estube leyendo sobre el metodo password recovery, lo que no entiendo bien es si yo hago eso puedo llegar perder la configuracion almacenada en el Switch?, y tambien quisiera saber sobre donde conseguir el Cisco Visual Switch Manager (CVSM) software CiscoView applicatio.

en el punto 7 haces backup del config y en los puntos siguientes lo vuelves a cargar al running / startup. Asi que, no, no lo pierdes si lo haces bien.

CiscoView viene con CiscoWorks. Si no tienes CiscoWorks puedes usar CNa (Cisco Network Assistant) que es una harramienta gratis de Cisco para gestionar switches. El Bisual Switch Manager parece ser bastante viejo.
