Hi All,

I am trying to connect "ASR 1002" port G0/*/* to "switch 9300"  port Te1/*/* but the link is not coming up, fiber connection.

Hardware details :

Using SFP = > GLC-SX-MMD ( ASR port )  and using SFP => SFP-10G-SR ( switch port ).

Fiber cable - LC

Please let me know if I am using wrong SFP or cable to connect the devices.

Thanks

KM

Yes both the side same SFP model, if the distance  below MMD specification.

ye use 1gb each side ,set no negotiation auto on the ASR interface
if thats still not working make sure the RX and TX on the fiber is matching if not cross the fiber pair , the light on cable goes into the port of the SFP without the light showing or else it will stay hard down at layer 1
