ping switch from diff vlans

9200L sw and 4503 core.

can't ping vlan10 on 9200L from other vlan.

only the same machine who are in same vlan.

can't from vlan20 to ping vlan10 ip of the 9200

1. check if you can ping to the VLAN 10 gateway (i guess that is on 4503) from VLAN 10 PC. if its not working make sure your PC connected to correct port with VLAN 10 (access mode) and 9200 connected to 4503 via trunk port where VLAN 10 allowed.

2. after same VLAN gateway ping is success, make same test for VLAN 20 and verify users have access to VLAN 20 gateway

3. when gateways are reachable, users should be able to ping each other (different VLANs) via 4503. make sure routing enabled in 4503

Thanks for your reply. The point is:

except this 9200, other 2960 and 4503 can be ping from vlan20 to vlan10. vlan 10 on 9200, static ip. no intergface assigned. 

I used server in vlan10 from another sw, to ping and webui, success.

but even plug in 9200, vlan20's port. can't ping. PC can get DHCP ip on vlan20. allowed All vlan on trunk.

I guess maybe there is a little diff on SVI...

you config management interface and default GW and use this interface for ping ?

I checked the 2960's conf, there is no any default GW setting. However, I tried IP default GW on Vlan10's stastic IP. 

Doesn't work.

Check uplink port are trunk and vlans allowed.

Make sure Intervlan routing is configured on the core switch.

Thanks. Jitendra. I checked show-conf and show-run on 4503 and other 2960, looks same. only 9200, looks diff than old style.

I can use 4503's vlan10 ping 9200 vlan10, but can't use other vlan to ping vlan10 on 9200.. in other sw, free to ping from other vlan to vlan10 mgmt IP of each sw.

Finally, I find out the problem, 

IP default-network xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

since on 4503, vlan10 has standby 10 IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
