I have a remote 3560X switch which has produced the following error messages. Nothing is connected to port 22, none of the other devices require POE from the switch. Port 21 came back online, but not 23 or 24. Any ideas what this refers to and whether it can be corrected remotely or needs to be replaced.

Usually ports are controlled 4 by 4, so if there is a hardware failure of something that controlls one port 4 will go away, thats why 21, 22, 23 and 24 have problems with PoE
Kind regards

I have never seen an error message like this before.
1. What is the IOS version you are using?
2. Have you tried erasing the configuration of both ports and determine if the error message returns?
3. Post the output to the command "sh power inline".
4. Have you tried to "shut/no shutdown" the port?
5. Have you tried to reboot the switch?

Thanks for your help. There was a hardware failure of the inline power controller which requires replacement of the switch to use those ports with POE.

I had upgraded to c3560cx-universalk9-tar.152-6.E2, so with a downgrade it helped.
