Is i need to configure anything to activate the POE?

Hi
no poe should be on by default there is commands on the interface level for altering certain parameters but it should e on once you connect a phone up
do you see anything in logs when you connect a device ?
also you could try debug see if it shows anything when you connect up debug ilpower port
If northing I would rma the switch with Cisco

No i didn't get any log msg while connecting IP phone in the interface.
but the same phone i has been connected in another 3750 switch that's working fine....

but both switch software image is different.... Is it affect the POE?
Working POE switch----C3750E Software (C3750E-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 12.2(55)SE8, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
Not Working POE switch-----C3750 Software (C3750-IPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.2(55)SE8, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

that's the same software train 12.2(55)se8 even though its universal its probably running an ipservices license anyway but there diff platforms , either way a bug should not prevent poe from operating completely but you could try a quick upgrade to confirm
have seen switches before with poe just not working in hardware that had to be replaced , not giving out any power
are you sure the switch is poe ? does it say it on it ?
as switches above are different platforms and E and non E model , all poe switches usually have it on them that there poe

Can you provide the output of "sh ver"? It will give the switch model number which will definitively tell you if it is in fact POE capable.

Hi!
Have you verified that ports you are connecting the phone are not shut down?
Can you post the show environmental all command?
How is the color of PoE LED in the switch?
Best regards!

Hi,
You need to check the model of the 2nd switch. If it is a 3750T, then it does not support POE. If it is a 3750P and it is not providing POE, then you could have damaged POE circuitry.
Thanks
John
