Port channel between Cisco 4500 series switch to Huawei switch not up

Good Afternoon to you all.

We have recently configured EtherChannel between the Cisco and Huawei switch and it is not up but err-disable,

We tried to configure the command "spanning-tree bpdufilter enable" in the interface port channel and the channel was up and running.

Could you explain the technical issue behind it to disable the spanning tree between 2 different vendor switches?

You will need to provide some more information to be able to answer this. Could you post the configuration of the port-channel and the output of "show running | i spanning-tree"?
